Tom came to skim my son's ceiling but because it had old artex and very uneven he decided to put a false ceiling in, board that and then skim it. Tom is a really friendly guy, kept showing me where he was up to in the job and was very tidy and did a great overall job at a good price. Wouldn't hesitate to use Tom again or recommend to friends and family.

We are a builders who carry out loft conversion and extensions along with all types of building work, we take no deposit, we send you to our last job we have completed, so you speak to customer. We are currently building a house from start to finish in Heysham which you can view, we have on board a part P electrical along with a gas safe heating engineer, we have a roofer who carry’s out all our roofing needs. All our lads are qualified and hold all certificates etc. We always send new customers to view our last jobs and lease with customer asking any questions regarding builds. Our insurance covers all aspects of all types of building works. We set out a payment plan, so payments are in stages, the last payment is when all work is completed and passed by building control.

He produced a detailed written quote and then didn't increase it throughout the job. DO NOT use this tradesman. Very quick to measure up for the job, took half the cost of the job in cash to order the materials, then kept saying he was too busy to do the job. Then blanked me altogether, I think that's called theft! Had no contact despite chasing him for several weeks now, not happy!

Arrived 3 hours later than expected then disappeared for half an hour as he hadn’t brought enough plaster. Both ceilings look good but oh what a mess! Borrowed a sheet to put over large units but covered the carpet with it instead.
