We are a period/listed property restoration company. We specialise in traditional materials and methods. Often our work is to Identity and rectify damp issues which arise from the use of modern materials on period properties where breathable materials are imperative for the buildings features and characteristics to function. We had them in to install insulation in our upstairs floor, replace the sub floor, replace some lights, install a loft hatch, and board out our loft. On top of this they discovered a problem in our roof that they fixed. We were incredibly impressed by all of the staff that attended on site. They were friendly, polite at all times, and worked really hard, to a high standard. I couldn't recommend James and his team more, and we've already started talking to them about a further project.
We hired SJC Contracts to build and install a staircase to service three floors. Right from the off, Simon was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, professional, helpful and full of great ideas and options. His work is of a very high standard and he worked hard to get everything “just right”. Oli is superb. Tidy, conscious, and adaptable. He stripped out the plasterboard walls and studwork in our home prior to remodelling. He worked quickly and confidently and respected our home. Whilst stripping out he came across some asbestos and he dealt with it appropriately, contacting an asbestos registered colleague and bagging it up and safety removing it at a very reasonable cost. We plan on using him again soon
