Chris Godwin is not a gas safe plumber He uses the Gas Safe logo but isn't registered I've contacted him several times and been lied to and now ignored. I'm currently seeking legal advice and also reporting him to Gas Safe and the HSE. Customer beware.

Appointment for a boiler service had to be re-arranged due to van breakdown. Service carried out and an issue identified requiring a 'straightforward' replacement of Automatic Air Valve. 2nd appointment arranged but not kept due to non-delivery of the part. Re-arranged for the following Friday (today). Dave McKenna arrived today but was unable to remove the old AAV. Eventually left without fitting replacement part (not-charged). He suggested a call-out to Ideal (probably £350+). Admitted lack of experience.
