Our entrance way reconfiguration project is now finished, and it has exceeded our expectations (& we are very fussy!!) it looks simply amazing. Everyone that has seen it has asked for the contact details of the builders as the finished results are show home like. Craig and his team really know their stuff, work hard, will keep you appraised of the project as it develops and work to a truly excellent standard. We would definitely recommend them if you want quality workmanship and a team you can trust.
Our quote was higher than others as we quoted to coat the stairs three times with a high quality varnish because they were in such a bad way, however the customer did not want to pay for this so we kindly matched the other quote, and this was only to put one coat of mid range varnish on. As with all previously painted low grade pine to achieve a good even finish you need to build on the layers and this customer did not want to pay for this. On finishing this job we had advised the customer that additional coats were needed and offered to do them at a reduced price. The flooring as mentioned by the customer is good and we also matched a lower quote for this.
Stewart my work partner and myself Adam, combined have over 60 years experience in the building industry. We run a small friendly team of committed guys that have everyone in mind when it comes to health and safety and maintaining a clean and tidy work site with minimal disruption while works commence. Our primarily trades are carpentry/joinery, bricklaying, plumbing, plastering and landscaping. however Stewart and i alone have served lengthy apprenticeships with our fathers and right from the off have turned our hands to all aspects of the building trade. We have had years of dealings with building control planning and developing and a good able knowledge of using architectural drawings and structural engineers reports. Where and when appropriately we have an electrician and plumber on the team that can competently carry out works and sign off respectively. Very professional, covered the carpets and flooring , tidied up everything and did a fantastic job on replacing the floor tiles and shower tray in our bathroom.
