Terrible builder, he will not give a receipt or invoice for any of the work carried out. He said he finished all the work then i paid him because i trusted him. I made the mistake of paying without checking all the work and without receiving the invoice. He only did half of the work he quoted for. I unfortunately paid the full amount. The shed he built lets in water every time it rains. He didn’t fix any of the gutters he quoted for. The list is long.

Pip is an excellent all rounder but is inclined to spend too much time on tasks if not supervised, which can be costly if employed on a day rate. In my experience, Pip should make more effort to separate his tools from others in order to avoid confusion of ownership.

I have recently joined this web site and have found some conversion work pictures for a garage conversion. I started out after leaving college with electrical installation and appliance repair, auto electrical work, alarm fitting, mainly fault finding and rectification with a strong sense of where problems are possible and the personality of being able to sort most issues out quickly and with the least time and disruption for all parties involved. Previous work has included listed buildings, churches, The bank of England, M O D Whitehall, country estate maintenance and security. A large volume of diverse experiance in many trades. I am extremely neat and tidy in my work, and have very high standards. I have worked for the Royal Household designing and fitting lighting for the queen in St James palace.
