Even though he knew I wanted to keep them, he took my old taps, apparently by mistake. Ok, fair enough, but after a week of prevaricating and promising to return them, it suddenly turned out they'd apparently been thrown away! I've now discovered it will cost me £200 to replace them as they were original vintage Supa Taps from the 60's... feels like I will be paying twice... not to mention the grief...

Carl turned up on a Sunday to examine a problem with our boiler. Attempted to fix a "kettling" problem by cleaning the DHW heat exchanger; Another problem appeared with a mico-switch. Despite high rates Carl charged us for 1 hour when he had been here longer because the kettling didn't appear to be resolved. Our combi is over 13 years old and so is nearing end of life anyway BUT usage since he did the work appears to have WORKED. So it may last us over the Winter period before we need a new one. 5*
