George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Spartan Construction is a new Business formed by an experienced workforce. We cover North West England but focus mainly in Lancashire and Cumbria.
Luke gave a decent quote for some roof, paving & fence work. What they did complete was good, but they did not finish the job. Communication was very frustrating and I had to constantly chase for updates. I stupidly paid the full balance after the garden was complete, but before the roof work was. It's now 9 weeks on & despite repeated assurances that they will come back (and me offering a further £200 to complete the roof work), I do not believe they intend to return. 3/5

Initially he was ok but quality of work meant I had to keep asking him to come back to fix the work. Difficult to get him back even though work guaranteed for 12 months.

We recently had our subfloor replaced and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The carpenter was friendly, professional, and clearly very skilled. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and made sure the work was carried out to a high standard. The new subfloor is solid, level, and has made a huge difference to the room. It's great to find a tradesperson who is reliable, turns up when they say they will, and takes pride in their work. I would highly recommend him!!

Vinny removed a rotting timber beam and replaced it with a steel beam. It sounds simple but I saw skill and experience producing an excellent job. Take my word for it because the beam is now hidden by a coat of render, looking exactly as it did before.
