Initially quoted us 600 pounds, despite my budget being 200. After we said no he came down to 250. Didn't do all the work we had asked to be completed, came one hour late despite us telling him we needed to leave at 2pm and didn't tidy up. Work not up to standard and wanted full payment when not all the work was completed. Carpet stained as no dust sheet or covering used.
Living in North London Self employed The work I do; Painting, Carpenter( kitchen, fixing the doors, wardrobe and shelves, wooden floors, all the wood works) Plastering.
Done a great job fitting some new skirting boards, on am old house with lots of corners around fire places etc... Very friendly and helpful.

Job was a new uPVC window for a bathroom. It was quoted for and fitted very efficiently and exactly to spec.
Wes is a top bloke. He did a good job,worked hard and tidied up after himself. The price was reasonable also. He fitted a front door for us. I would recommend him highly.
We have been very pleased with all aspects of Chris's work, the job was started on time and completed as scheduled. The en suite and downstairs loo being done before Christmas and the Main Family bathroom in the New Year. Any Snags were overcome and a high quaility finish in all rooms bringing our bathrooms upto date. Chris arrived when he said he would often 7.30 in the morning and even Saturdays. We would recommend Chris to family and friends without question, and have him back in the future - Fiona Kevin and Family
I'd highly recommend John. He managed our expectations well from the start - turned up on time to quote, delivered a quote the next day as promised, provided references when we asked for them (who backed up that he's a good builder), found a space in his schedule quickly to fit our job in, did it quickly, efficiently and leaving no mess afterwards. And charged us a reasonable amount for the work. Couldn't speak more highly of him, and will definitely ask him to quote on our extension when we progress with the planning.
