"Absolutely outstanding service! We have just bought a old house & the current electric situation was in very poor condition . The electrician (Chris) was professional, courteous, and diagnosed / updated a tricky consumer panel to a modern up to date model. Done the job ok, but took 1.5 hours to complete a 45 minute job! Shockley cost me £300 to have a hob installed with most of the existing pipe work used.

The plumber was really quick – he fixed the dripping tap in about 20 minutes. But then he charged us £168, which is outrageous. I'd avoid 'The Local Plumber Service'. They quote £62.50 for 30 minutes, but they actually charge a full hour no matter how quick the job is. That's really misleading."
