Hello, I'm Andy. With over 15 years' experience as a decorator, I specialise in internal painting, wallpapering, and wall lining. I'm also experienced in fitting curtains and blinds. During the Covid pandemic, I became ill and was unable to work for the best part of two years, which led to the closure of my previous business and Rated People account, hence the gap in my ratings. To regain stability but always with the mindset of returning as a decorator, I spent the next two years learning a new skill working full-time as a curtain and blind fitter for a well-known brand. Now, I feel the time is right to continue my decorating career with a fresh start under the new business name: Tip Top Decorating. Andy is a very pleasant young man. He arrived on time. He made a very good job of the work and cleaned up after. I am so pleased that he coming in back in July to do some decorating. I would definitely recommend him.

The job was posted on 22nd July 2025 and Wade Ellis of Ellis Roofing And Building Ltd responded 2 days later. After a survey, I received a quote on 26th July, which was accepted. A skip arrived on 29th July and the work commenced next day. The job was completed on 1st August. The bricklayer and his female trainee assistant got on with the job without any fuss, and they were very pleasant to deal with. The aim of the project has been delivered and I am very happy with the result. I recommend them. 5 stars!
