Whilst the app is a good idea having to select a job costing beforehand when you're not sure how much to pay is very frustrating. It also reduces your negotiation of any job with the tradesman you're contacting, I've used the RP app a few times but not sure if I will use it again. On this occasion I only had 1 reply so was grateful to get the job done but it comes at a price.

These builders did turn up and have worked on the chimney. However, I've not received photos of the job they did or received a guarantee as promised. There is damp in the wall still After several attempts to contact them, I've recieved nothing back.

We hired Gowan PM to decorate our first project of 7 apartments. They are so much more than your average tradesmen; multi skilled, (great tiling and bathroom installation) tidy (put our team to shame), when we changed a main colour they were fab and just took it in their stride. We forget to order materials so they collected it for us. The quality of the work is second to none and has been admired by all. I have no doubt that it will be their work will sell our project. He was very reliable, reasonably priced and worked to our budget, his craftsmanship was very good, he was a quick (and tidy) worker, and he gave us plenty of extra advice and tips for other rooms.
