Don't hire - he quotes price (that then increases once he's started work), doesn't show up for weeks on end - despite promises to come, Then, after payment, disappears and ghosts the customer leaving the job unfinished - AVOID!

Hussein showed up on time, communicated throughout and got the job done. It turned out to be a bigger job than anticipated but he managed to still get everything sorted with minimal delays and has been very easy to deal with, going above and beyond and managed to squeeze us in to his busy schedule for snagging issues. During the Covid pandemic, I became ill and was unable to work for the best part of two years, which led to the closure of my previous business and Rated People account, hence the gap in my ratings. I hired Duncan from First Choice Decor to decorate my hall, stairs and landings. His preparation was meticulous and he gave helpful suggestions to achieve the desired result. He is a perfectionist and his attention to detail produced an excellent finish. I was so pleased with his work that I asked him to do my kitchen/diner as well. Would highly recommend him.
