There was a problem with getting an even colour on the refinished floor. Apparently two types of sanders are needed for the perimeter of the room and the middle. The perimeter took the stain more and this wasn't taken into account so the floor had to be re-stained darker to make the colour difference less noticeable. Also, the final finish scratches easily.

Andrew started promptly and the work has been completed to an excellent standard, he even went above and beyond with a few extra tasks, clearing away the rubble, mess and materials that were in addition to his work from our renovation. I would recommend future dealings with Michael and his workmanship is top standard. Specialists in replacing roofs, slates or tiles. I source and supply all materials saving the customer time and hassle researching the materials. All of the materials I use are of the highest standard. I always supply samples of tiles or slates to ensure we get what suits best for your property and price range. I also do new build houses from wall plate to finish and fit fascia boards and soffits. Other jobs we regularly complete include full loft Conversions and replacement of old roof windows due to them becoming drafty or if they have been fitted for 25 years and over and need a upgrade. All of my jobs are completed to a high standard and come with a 10 year warranty.

This man came out and priced my work. I accepted his price but on the day he was due to start the work he rang me saying his platerers wife was taken into hospital with food poisoning. Never heard from him again.so I am now looking for someone myself to plaster my ceiling.

Revised review. I originally gave a 1 star review to Bill Osborne(RL Contracts)for the substandard work that he undertook solely. He told me that this review had to be removed for me to receive a partial refund. Which I did. To finish the extension, I have retained the sub contractors that he originally employed as their work has been exemplary. I have spent the past month repeating work that he undertook personally (roofing/plumbing) and am massively out of pocket even with a refund. HENCE THE ONE STAR
