I have been in this business since leaving school, and intend to continue while I still can because I have a 3 year old daughter at a rather late age. In the 1970s when I started most people were doing domestic furniture in this trade, I however was trained on government department jobs as well as domestic jobs. In those days most polishing jobs were dark traditional colours, by the late 80s to early naughties they were more natural colours and more recently lighter than natural. Perhaps you require fitted furniture or architectural joinery changes, such as doors and frames to blend with carpets or curtains. Send a photo and let's see what can be done. We hired Ionut to lay some decking and build two planters and some bench seating as well as landscape the garden and laying a new lawn. Ionut and his team did an exceptional job - the work is very neat and professional and we ended up with a great finish. They were polite, respectful and worked very hard. I have already recommended Ionut to a friend and hired him for another job (laying slate slabs) which was also done incredibly well.

Jim and Sam replaced our fence perimeter around our house and added a shed base at the back. They did a great job. It was not an easy job but they took their time to make sure they got it just right. Nice guy but let me down terribly. I needed 3 rooms to have new ceilings. A messy job and taking the old ones down was fine, but they ran out of time, failed to complete the job leaving gaps in the plaster on the walls and failed to skim the plaster board on the ceilings. Shocking result- they were too concerned about the large job they had and left my rooms in a shocking state.
