Wooden Doors - Internal

Anouir was always in a rush. He planed my door but the problem all along was the frame! He took out an upright and inserted a new one and now the door closes but one hinge is set in the door and the other isn't so there is a gap on the hinged side of the door. He didn't tidy up some fibre cable which was on the door frame and left me with rotten door frame in the garden. I will not use him again. And now I need a new door.

  Sorry to hear this I did say on arrival you defiantly need a new left side jam due to wet rot and you stated can it be fixed without anything being replaced I said il give it a go re sized the door and it’ dropped again because of the rot on the hinge side of frame so I replaced left side frame and you wanted your original 1930s hinges I’m very sorry for not counter sinking your hinges into the frame as I had ran out of battery power. I collected the rotten frame next day ?

  I still have all the wood in my garden and I am sure I showed you the broken frame right at the beginning.

  No I pointed out that you needed a new frame on arrival you said CAN IT BE SAVED I said Il give it a go in terms of rubbish I’m sure I removed the rotten bits of the frame and took with me but it’s ok. Il drive by tomorrow to double check if I have forgotten something I’m very sorry for inconvenience il take away with me
