Ardvark

This is a second comment and rating because something strange happened to my computer half way through the last entry. Tony and his team were remarkable. When he arrived to assess the job he was a breath of fresh air. He was friendly, clearly very competent and competitively priced. When the job turned out to be more complicated, he handled the extra work with skill and some very good ideas that have led to our having a beautiful balcony as well as solid steps. This means that we can now invite our friends and family to enjoy our garden, safe in the knowledge that, unless they take a deliberate dive over the edge, there is no danger of the steps collapsing beneath them. We are delighted to have found Ardvark and will be asking them to do further work for us.

Hi james thank you for your rating that was very nice of you, We fixed the cat flap with silicone which is rmovable, the reason being we had an amount of breakout whilst drilling the hole and it helps to keep it waterproof, sorry about not centering it i dont remember that conversation, could be my age tehe. regards and best wishes Tony. We explained to you that we worked during the night before your job was due to start repairing the entrance to a property that had been broken into , we offered to do the job on another day,but you did not reply for a week, so it looked like you had gone elsewhere to get your job done. Im sorry you feel neglected.

Thank you for your message. The difficulty in making contact with you and the fact you turned down the job after first accepting it is the reason for our disappointment. I understand you had reasons to miss the initial appointment. That would have been fine had you called or sent an SMS to let us know. It created great inconvenience that you did not let us know and were uncontactable. Both my husband and I were very late for work waiting for you and were unable to reach you on your phone. After eventually speaking to you, we agreed to put this down to an unfortunate set of circumstances and decided to take up your offer to reschedule. Although we tried to contact you a few times during the following week and you never answered your phone, did not ring back and did not respond to my SMS. You finally replied to my attempt to reach you via the Rated People website with a brief message saying that you would no longer take the job.

Thank you for the rating and i do understand your annoyance at not being able to reach me,the reason for that was my work phone fell into a toilet the day before and my other one was elsewhere, so once again im sorry if i caused you any inconveniance. regards Tony
