Peter came around to take my front door off it’s hinges and plane it down and rehang it as it used to stick in the floor - now it works very smoothly! Peter was very polite and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend him to others, Anna

Rebecca Finlayson's question
Tue 31 Jul 2018 17:59pm

Hi. We have laid composite decking on top of a wooden timber frame in our garden. The problem is we have not had much rain and have had extremely high temperatures, therefore the ground has become so dry it has cracked and moved, causing the timber frame to move and the decking now also. Any advice on what we should do next please? Will it recover on its own or should we adjust it now?

Hi Obviously the frame is not standard and the decking supports should be concrete and joist at least 6'/2' and bolted together Using composite it should be easy to undo and restore You may need to redo the decking all toghether Good Luck Regards peter CFC LIMITED
