Alex managed to fit our job in quickly and did a great job of re-pointing the end of our house. We required scaffolding which Alex took care of. The end of our house gets battered by the wind and was in a poor crumbly condition. The old mortar was raked out from top to bottom and carefully re-pointed with colour matched lime mortar. The work was neat and tidy with no mess left over. He did such a good job our neighbours had him repair their chimney!

Alex repointed the front and gable end of my Victorian terrace in lime, I am delighted with the work he has done. He is a highly skilled craftsman and the quality of his work is first class, I have already arranged for him to come back in the spring to do another job. After some bad experiences with members of the building trade in the past,it is so reassuring to find such an honest and professional craftsman like Alex and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Alex is a stonemason who really does know his stuff (Stone, limestone, mortar). He can do complex renovations using the 'correct' materials to everyday work such as rebuilding a wall or pointing. A pleasure to see a craftsman at work. Non stop and happy in what he's doing. Considering his skills his rates are very reasonable. He's now in my list of contacts.
