Very unprofessional and make false promises when he cannot deliver a job. I paid deposit to James to sort out the leaking roof and other maintenance job at the property at the start of April. Two months down the line, he hasn't done the job, coming with excuses like my van isn't working, I have been in hospital and all these excuses are told after you chase him up. His communication is terribly poor as its non-existent and I would not advise anyone to hire such an unprofessional person to do your job.

Shocking work. We paid £3,400 for a brand new bathroom with new flooring throughout the home and this builder James Baker who runs under various business names from J W to The Dark Spark electrical in Spalding has destroyed the bathroom and his so called friends have placed a worthless and extremely shoddy bad job. A 5 year old could do better. We are now taking legal action after a flooding, no work for 2 weeks and wall panels that are such a bad job we have to get a new bathroom fitted.

Jake was amazing! Very prompt with quote which was very competitive. Arrived 2 days later to do job. Tidy worker and very friendly. Will definitely use Jake again. Highly recommended.

Hired James to remove existing shower and replace with new. When he had finished up I paid him the agreed £250 thinking all was OK. However when my partner used the shower later that day the water flow was poor and started running cold after a few minutes. I have tried to contact James on several occasions and he either arranges to come but doesn't turn up or ignores my messages completely. I have since read the other reviews on his page and can't understand how he has such a high rating on this platform.
