Ian came to quote the job. He sent me a quote by email, but when I started discussing the job details which should go without saying with a professional painter (furnitures and fixings protection with sheet and tapes, anti-mould paint for kitchen and bathroom, disposal of waste, commitment to finish on time…), he withdrew his quote.

I came to look at the job and we discussed the paints there was no furniture to protect as it was a empty house all the carpets you were changing I sent you a email with quote you wanted the work done 3 hundred pounds cheaper and wanted more expensive paint if you intend to give someone a negative review have the decence to be honest in.your review

I didn’t say furniture what I meant was the kitchen cupboards sockets windows which need to be protected, you withdrew your quote most likely because I told you I was worried for collateral damage as couple of people badly rated you on mybuilder.com complaining about collateral damage from paint. As for the price, we were still negotiating it I offered 1200£ whereas you suggested 1300£; I didn’t ask for more expensive paint I just asked to use the correct paint for kitchen and bathroom.
