I feel strongly about giving positive feedback, whenever appropriate, especially when it comes to supporting small businesses who are great at what they do. Joseph and his team were polite, great at communicating what was required, and delivered what they promised. Also fairly priced! Can't fault them at all, highly recommended!

Joseph was on time to view the job, he was very polite and helpful in helping me decide how I wanted my side gate built and installed, very pleased with the work and no mess left, took old gate away for me, the price was very reasonable all fittings were supplied within the price, done on the day we arranged very happy, J Boon.

I have now used universal home improvements on three occasions and I can safely say that Joe and his team are the most professional tradespeople I’ve come across. Joe and the team are courteous, professional and technically superb. I would have no hesitation in recommending Joe and his team for any job, small or large. Cheers Phil

Joe’s team arrived on time did a good job, cleaned up well afterwards and were polite and helpful. The price was competitive. There was an extra charge but we negotiated this and it was entirely reasonable. Given it was a roofing job, the photos he showed me were very useful. The date had to be changed due to weather but communication was good so this was not a problem. I would not hesitate to recommend this company for similar work.

It was really easy to get the work done and I was provided with pictures once the work was completed. I can't really comment on price as this was the only company who responded. The price seemed reasonable and the work was completed with no fuss within a few days.

Who do i need to contact a roofer or builder? I think we are lacking ventilation. It may be that the eves are blocked or we need a ventilation tile.

A roofer will be best suited. Ventilation tiles or soffit vents usually dose the trick.

I have a damp patch which, with all the recent rain, is spreading quite rapidly. It is mainly on the flank wall and front wall. I think it is an issue with perished pointing rather than roof or gutters. I realise that it's not really the right time of year for re-pointing but would welcome any advice. I don't want the damp to spread too far.

Hi June, after reading your message I recommend you get your wall re pointed ASAP as the weather we are having at the moment is not doing no good at all to your wall. Ideally summertime is always better to do any work but it's certainly a job that's need sorting now rather than later as it will cause much more damage. There are mixes to put in a cement mix that stops any frost setting in. Hope we have helped .
