My husband accepted and paid your bill at the time it is only subsequently that we have found out from others that this was an excessive amount to be charged for this work. Our mistake was not getting a number of quotes before instructing you to do the work. We will not make this mistake again.

Despite encountering a few surprises (lack of isolation valves, dead pigeons etc) the job was done in good time and on budget..
