Very disappointed with this “tradesman” and his work. Things went well initially with Mervyn helping to design our bathroom refurb. The work itself seemed to go reasonably well but he when he was called back to fix a leak in the shower this wasn’t done adequately. More and more silicone was added, without fixing the leak. Eventually, when the shower leaked so badly that water poured through our living room ceiling, this guy wouldn’t even answer his phone. My advice would be to avoid.

Scaffolding materials have been left on my property since February, and it's now June. I've reached out several times via phone and text, but they still haven’t come to collect them. Frankie is a very professional worker. He prepared the room well by covering everything with polythene. The sanding and first coat of finish were done on the first day. He worked from 8 a.m. until 6.45 p.m. to do this so he clearly is controlled by the clock. The finishing coat was completed on the second day to an excellent standard. The floor could pass easily as a newly fitted floor. He went above and beyond for us. A great worker and not too expensive. I would give him more stars if they were available.

Revised review. I originally gave a 1 star review to Bill Osborne(RL Contracts)for the substandard work that he undertook solely. He told me that this review had to be removed for me to receive a partial refund. Which I did. To finish the extension, I have retained the sub contractors that he originally employed as their work has been exemplary. I have spent the past month repeating work that he undertook personally (roofing/plumbing) and am massively out of pocket even with a refund. HENCE THE ONE STAR
