My name is Akos, I am originally an architect but I have a company called Zebra Services here in the South of England including South London. We needed some buttresses built to support a garden wall. Fred was able to provide very practical help and advice which we were more than happy to act upon. The work was delivered in a timely way and to a very high standard. The guys were always cleaning up after themselves and always left the site clean and tidy. Fred is my go-to builder from now on and have no hesitation in recommending him to others!!

Main task of laying wood was top class. Reasons for the mixed review: - As part of cost, was promised beading that would colour match the wood, but he turned up with different colour beading and it was left to me to varnish it - door needed to be trimmed because the wooden floor was at a raised height - was cut incorrectly. He promised to return and fix the door and lay a bridge to the carpeted hallway if I paid him in full which I did. Despite me following up, he never returned which I find dishonest.

A SUMMARY of issues follows. 1 - Plastering done is uneven. 2 - Did not allow plaster to dry before painting walls so already peeling off. 3 - Found number of areas where holes had been left, and had these not been pointed out would have been left. 4 - Wood not sanded before painting, incl. new skirting boards. 5 - Threats when I refused to pay!
