He very quickly determined the cause of my problem (and just as quickly arrived at the required solution). Returned the very next day (as mutually agreed) and completed the required repair work in very good time. Great job - replacing mortar on back of house with lime mortar and on gable end. Also sorted out lots of small jobs while scaffolding up - painting fascia, leading on leaky gutter etc.. - which was really helpful.
