I have grown up on a construction site and have always had a good hand in lead ever since I was 4 years old. I had worked with my father doing plumbing and by the time I was 13 years old I was a part time partner in his company, I further went to college and qualified in level 2 NVQ Plumbing and had carried a full-term apprenticeship, creating a portfolio. Once finishing my qualifications I became a full time partner in my father’s general building company which entailed doing, extensions, refurbs, plumbing and heating, kitchen & bathroom refurbishments, new builds, roofing and lead work. We ran the company together for a further 8 years on top of his 45 years of quality construction. Afterwards I have done my own jobs and have now recently created my own company B.J.T Construction, named after my 3 young boys a business that shows we are built upon family, integrity, quality and professional standards. To help create a business that will always provide everything the client requires and to which everything that should be upheld.

The most patient craftsman I’ve ever hired. Sydney completed my upstairs and downstairs bathrooms to a flawless standard. He is exceptionally trustworthy and methodical. He was so patient when I changed my mind on the wall panels, and even dismantled a door frame to get the bath in without a second thought. Nothing phases him and his pricing is transparent. AVOID Adil is a smooth talker who hasn't got a clue about work in the industry. Employed to refurbish a full house. A SUMMARY of issues follows. 1 - Plastering done is uneven. 2 - Did not allow plaster to dry before painting walls so already peeling off. 3 - Found number of areas where holes had been left, and had these not been pointed out would have been left. 4 - Wood not sanded before painting, incl. new skirting boards. 5 - Threats when I refused to pay!
Spoke to Colin at 330pm to discuss the job and agreed I would like him to do it. He came round at 730pm and did the repair. He was polite at all times and was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him and will certainly use him again should the need arise.
