Hello, I’m Kyle, owner of Urban Houzz. We fit LVT, laminate, vinyl, carpets & lay screeds/dpms whilst also having an outdoor living department for your glass rooms, pergolas, and awnings. You’d be warmly welcomed to visit our showroom in Oakham where you’ll see the articulate craftsmanship on display with our fully LVT fitted flooring designs ranging from herringbone, chevron, heritage, wood and tile effect and bespoke border work. I'm happy to supply and install your flooring, but if you just want my expertise to install/advise on any DIY projects that's fine. I can damp proof floors, fix uneven floors with screeds and plywood, lay carpets and design bespoke flooring with Luxury Vinyl Tiles. If you’d prefer us to visit your residence I can bring all samples to your home and measure up followed by a quote for your project. We are a small family run business, I have over 10 years fitting experience in the flooring sector whilst being approved retailers for some of the largest carpet and LVT brands across the country. Hi, My name is Paul. I have recently set up our family run business in property services after 30 years’ experience in the trade of carpentry and joinery. As a service we aim to be professional, reliable, honest, and flexible. We are fully insured. I started my career as a bench joiner, making and fitting all kinds of joinery including, doors and windows, conservatories, shop fittings, and pub bars. Some highlights during this time were building display cabinets for Harrods, and the Ritz hotel, and bookcases for the British library. I moved onto making and installing high specification kitchens, before taking the leap into self-employment. During subcontracting for others, I have increased my knowledge and skills in new builds, residential and commercial building improvements. Some highlights from the last few years, have been to work on the roofing of the admissions centre at Windsor Castle, fitting oak doors and frames at Eton college, and seating stands for a new opera house. If you're looking for a carpenter then look no further! Paul is the rare combination of skillful, reliable and reasonably priced. He's also a genuinely nice guy. No job is too big or small. Paul fitted our engineered wooden floor and he did such a good job we had no hesitation in re-booking him to box in some pipes and hang a door. I can't recommend Paul enough and if we need any further work we will go straight back to him.

We are really pleased with our newly tiled living room floor. Ryan was very thorough with the setting out, and checked we were happy with the tile pattern and the alignment of the cuts before starting. All the cuts are flawless and the grouting and finishing is really good. All rubble was removed and the working area was well cleaned on completion. Overall we are very pleased with the work, and would recommend.
