He replied to messages quickly, turned up when he said he would, and was correct that our tree had in fact died. Thank you, James, for the first class job you did in our small garden. We needed blocks removed and a new fence erected. James responded within minutes of me posting the job. He worked very hard in particularly warm weather and completed the work to a high standard with a minimum of disturbance. He was very responsive to any requests we had and we are very happy with the work he did. He is also very easy to talk to and we very much enjoyed his company. I'd been messed about by a couple of roofers and builders before. Purcells turned up when they said they would (the same day!) priced everything, got the parts and then did the job to a great standard. They weren't difficult to pay and I can't recommend them highly enough

Tradesman came out to give a quote. Was advised I would be contacted by a painter about the staircase, I never heard from him. Contacted tradesman again, arranged a time in advance to complete job quoted for. Tradesman didn't come back to confirm, job not done.
The young fellow was a good worker but he never returned to finish the job. Very disappointed.
I was very let down by this company last year. It ended up costing me nearly half as much again, as I was originally quoted, to get put right and get fixed up what 'improvements' he made. Not recommended by me at all.
