We had them in to install insulation in our upstairs floor, replace the sub floor, replace some lights, install a loft hatch, and board out our loft. On top of this they discovered a problem in our roof that they fixed. We were incredibly impressed by all of the staff that attended on site. They were friendly, polite at all times, and worked really hard, to a high standard. I couldn't recommend James and his team more, and we've already started talking to them about a further project.

They did a great job at taking my garden waste, although the original quote was lower than the quote they gave me after inspecting the task, they quoted before the job but failed to inform it didn't include VAT, which knocked the quoted price up by 20%. Would've been 5 stars if they were clearer with the price. However I cannot fault the work, and it needed to be done.

Shocking work. We paid £3,400 for a brand new bathroom with new flooring throughout the home and this builder James Baker who runs under various business names from J W to The Dark Spark electrical in Spalding has destroyed the bathroom and his so called friends have placed a worthless and extremely shoddy bad job. A 5 year old could do better. We are now taking legal action after a flooding, no work for 2 weeks and wall panels that are such a bad job we have to get a new bathroom fitted.

I posted photos of my job and recieved a quote via text straight away. When I made contact to book the job they came the following day at the agreed time and the guy that came was fantastic. I was able to leave him to it while I carried on sorting through in the house. Ben is fast, helpful, positive, strong and he communicates really well. I had a rather complex removal (a lot of small bits of furniture which needed some creative spacial thinking to fit into small storage space). Ben spent an evening and a day with me. And really helped with everything. I asked him for a lot of tips on what to keep and what to throw away and came up with good solutions. Agreed a price and before doing the job already trying to renegotiate the price up another £50. Turned up 30mins late. Then tried to say the load was more than picture and video. In fact was less as emptied bags into garden waste bin. Tried to renegotiate the price up £50 again, already had half a load in their van. Finally filled their van up. Left a load of rubbish in the front garden including glass that they smashed up and tried to hide. Just had to pick it up as have a dog and young children. Licence??
