I require someone to replace a fireback is this a specilist job

hi I'm not sure what you mean by 'fireback' if is back wall of open fireplace ,or gas burning ,yes you need specialist.Plumber,gas registerd trades man should help or point to specialist who know what material to used for any repair ,chimney flu,safety etc.
