Hi There are many factors to consider if a wall is supporting or not which I could go on and on about. My best advise is if you are unsure then to seek advice from a good builder or a structural engineer who could easily clarify this for you. I would strongly advise against any work being done on the suspect wall until fully assured of its structure and if load bearing in any way. I hope this helps you.
