Hi Charles, you don't install a cooker circuit. you get a qualified electrician to do it. Andy
Hi Charles, Although the other gentlemen are correct you also will need to check additional requirements as they influence the final cost of the work. 1. Size of oven. A single oven usually takes at most 13A meaning that if necessary no additional electric circuitry is required. 2. Induction/Electric hobs automatically mean you'll need a new circuit. 3. Check your fuse box/consumer unit as if not RCD protected then additional measures will be needed when installing your unit. 4. Overall power rating of oven and hob will effect cable and breaker size. If in doubt ask a local electrician to come round and quote and then you'll have all the details and a benchmark to work against. Kind regards, Matt.
Hi Charles I am affraid but someone with at least part P qualification will be allowed to do it as you will need certificate and guarantee for a job. I would suggest to post your job under electricians then 3 companies will contact you to discuss details of a job and you will hire the best one I hope this can help Best regards Rafal
