Hi Bernard Use a masonry drill bit the size of the appropriate fixings, when you drill through the tile it's best to either get a bradall and gently tap with a hammer to just make a mark on the tile this avoids the drill slipping or put some masking tape on the tiles first. Do not use the hammer function on your drill until you have drilled through the tile this will prevent the tile cracking. Kind regards Martin

Hi Bernard When drilling through tile it's best to put some masking tape on the tiles first. Mark where you are going to drill, then drill through the tape to stop it slipping all over the tile. Use fixing appropriate to the surface underneath, check with your local DIY shop what sort you need.
