Hi David Have you checked the bulb ? Is it running off a fuse spur ? has the fuse gone in the spur Or it could just be broken (They don't last forever) and will need replacing. Regards

Hello David, Try replacing the light before the light fitting. Regards Michael
Most of the times, the light bulb which is a halogen lamp dies after a while so check the bulb first, but if you want to replace it, you have to handle it with a piece of cloth and not touch it directly. If the light bulb is ok, then probably the PIR (Passive InfraRed) sensor got broken and in this case it might be cheaper to replace the whole light fitting. If the security light is fed from a fused spur, check the fuse inside the spur with a continuity tester or just replace it with a 13Amp fuse.
Hi David If the bulb is ok, it looks like switch is broken, or sensor, if You got them Best Chris
Hi David. Its a little vague, really need a little more information. Is it a halogen floodlight type? Is it switched on via a switch or photocell? Probably is something simple like the bulb. That would be the obvious place to start
