Hi P if you are thinking of tacklng a kitchen re-furb yourself you will need to have the necessary skills and equipment to complete the work, ask yourself are you upto the job! If you are going to join the worktop professionally you will need a jig and router and then there's the plumbing for the sink. A professional fitter will complete this job quickly and your kitchen will be ready to use the same day, I would recommend you get someone in it will be a lot less trouble. Ed
