Hi H Dependent on the make of the oven some have removable back panel inside oven space to access the element but oven will have to be removed to gain access to rear panel and connections to fan and element power feeds all of which must be done once switched off and fuse removed or trip to oven is switched off on consumer unit. replacement of element is quite straight forward. A good idea is to photo or make a diagram of connection cable colours etc. so to make it easier when re fitting new parts.
