Which comes first. Skimming airtex ceiling or installing new lighting?

It's best to get any lighting done first & the plaster can make good any damage before skimming G. Branch plastering

we would advise getting the lighting done first, because if the electrician's have to make any holes in the ceiling to get at wires they can be patched and the ceiling skimmed over as wiring is not always accessible from above.
