hi duncan bad news im afraid i have marked double glazing and standard glass and tried various methods of removal such as scratch removal kits and they have all proved to be next to useless.to have them taken out by a specialist is often more expensive than the glass or glazing unit so replacement is the only option. ps if you do find a cheep method please email me! regards dave price rew.services

hi Duncan, you can polish them out using very fine wet and dry paper applied with a circular sander. in fact this is a common practice to finish of the welded joints when frames are produced in the factory. you could find a local manufacturing company and they may give you the paper perhaps show you how its done in the factory.
