Rated People is an introductory platform that connects homeowners with tradespeople. As such, we are not responsible for the work carried out by tradespeople or the outcomes of agreements made between homeowners and tradespeople.

While we carry out ongoing monitoring of active accounts, we cannot take liability for the actions, conduct, or quality of work provided by tradespeople using the platform.

As a homeowner, you are not obligated to accept any quotes you receive. We strongly recommend that you carry out your own checks before hiring a tradesperson, including reviewing their profile, ratings, and feedback from previous customers. It is also important to ensure there is a clear and mutual understanding of the scope of work, pricing, and payment terms before any work begins.

To help maintain standards on the platform, we regularly review ratings and customer feedback. Tradespeople who consistently receive negative reviews or fall below our standards may be removed from the platform, helping reduce the risk of homeowners hiring tradespeople who have previously delivered unsatisfactory work.
