How can I delete my account?

If you would like to request the deletion of your Rated People account, please contact us via chat and our Support Team will process your request.

Under UK GDPR and data protection regulations, you have the right to request that your personal data is deleted (often referred to as the "right to be forgotten"). Once your request is received, we will review it and remove or anonymise your personal data where possible.

However, there are certain situations where we may need to retain some information for a limited period of time in order to comply with legal or regulatory requirements.

For example, if you have been involved in a transaction on the platform within the last 6 years - whether you posted a job that was purchased by a tradesperson, or you are a tradesperson who purchased a job - we may need to keep some related information on record during that period. This helps us meet our legal obligations, such as resolving disputes, handling complaints, or complying with financial and regulatory requirements.
