How can I enable push/email notifications?
Push and email notifications are two different ways to stay updated on new job leads and account activity.
- Push notifications – Sent to your mobile device through the app
- Email notifications – Delivered to your email inbox
How to enable notifications in the app
- Make sure push notifications are enabled on your device settings (see below).
- Open the Rated People app and log in.
- Tap ‘More’ at the bottom of your screen.
- Select ‘Notifications & lead alerts’.
- Use the toggle to turn push and/or email notifications on.
How to enable notifications on the website
On the website, you can only enable email notifications:
- Log in to your account.
- Click ‘My Account’ in the top right-hand corner.
- Select ‘Contact preferences’ from the dropdown menu.
- Use the toggle to turn email notifications on.
To receive push notifications, you will need to download the app and follow the steps above.
How to enable push notifications on your phone
Even if notifications are enabled in your account, you must also allow them on your device.
iPhone (iOS)
- Go to Settings
- Tap Notifications
- Select Rated People
- Toggle Allow Notifications on
- Choose how you’d like to receive alerts (Lock Screen, Banners, Sounds)
Android
- Go to Settings
- Tap Notifications or Apps & Notifications
- Select Rated People
- Toggle Notifications on
- Adjust your notification preferences as needed
Why enabling notifications is important
Turning on notifications allows you to:
- See new leads as soon as they’re available
- Respond quickly, improving your chances of winning work
- Stay updated on messages and account activity
For the best experience, we recommend enabling both push and email notifications.
