How can I post a job?

Posting a job on Rated People is quick and easy, whether you’re using the website or the mobile app. Once your job is live, up to three tradespeople can express interest and contact you with quotes.

Please note that tradespeople pay for the opportunity to quote on your job, so it’s important to keep your job posting up to date. If your job is no longer needed or you’ve already chosen someone, we kindly ask that you remove the job to avoid tradespeople spending time and money unnecessarily.

Posting a job on the website

1. Visit www.ratedpeople.com
2. Select the type of work you need from the homepage
3. Complete the short form by adding:

   • Your contact information
4. Submit your job

Once submitted, your job will be shared with relevant tradespeople in your area.

Posting a job on your mobile browser

If you visit Rated People on your smartphone browser:

1. You will be directed to the mobile web form
2. Select the type of work you need
3. Fill in the job details and your contact information
4. Submit your job

Posting a job using the Rated People app

You can also post a job using our Rated People Homes app, available on both iPhone and Android.

To get started:

1. Download the Rated People Homes app from your app store
2. Open the app and log in or create an account
3. Tap ‘Post a Job’ from the main menu
4. Complete the short form with your job details
5. Submit your job

To get the best results:

• Provide clear and detailed information about your job
• Set a realistic budget
• Respond to tradespeople who show interest

Once your job is complete or no longer needed, please make sure to remove your job posting to keep the marketplace fair for everyone.
