Think carefully about what you plan to use your new piece of furniture for, or what you wish to store in it. Remember, to make it as functional as possible you should be very specific with your requirements. If it’s a wardrobe, don’t make your design generic, think about what needs to go in it and design it with as many shelves or separate compartments as you think you’ll need for your belongings. Think about where your new furniture will go. It’s particularly important with anything that’s to be built-in as you won’t be able to move it later. It’s all about making sure it fits the space perfectly, and makes the best use of it. Hi , I'm Mark, from MS Interiors. I've been working in the building industry for over 35 years! On leaving school ,I went into a bricklaying apprenticeship, but after three English winter's I decided to find a trade indoors so I got a job on the council, working for Woolwich, Bexley, and then Meadway, where I learned all the skills needed to renovate house, fitting kitchens, bathrooms, hanging doors, plastering, etc. Then came contracts with MFI, Wickes, and B&Q, where I stayed for five years and fitted 200 kitchens and bathrooms! I've worked for local kitchen and bathroom companies and have been working independently on my own now for the last three years doing small renovation work, like building rooms in corners of bedrooms to give the client a enuit , decorating, internal wall removal, flooring , building wardrobes/cabinets / madia walls etc , but predominantly bathrooms!! I really couldn't put a figure on how many bathrooms I've fitted in my working life but it would be in the region of 350 , so I do feel confident in my knowledge and skills as a fitter . I pride myself on my tiling, always trying to strive for perfection as this is what the client sees ! Not that I cut corners anywhere else, using only copper pipe and fittings, and no push fit fittings because that is not plumbing, in my opinion! Many thanks for your time. Mark.
