What does CCTV installation involve?

Planning permission for CCTV installation jobs
If you go for a CCTV system for the exterior of your property, you’ll need to comply with basic privacy laws. This means ensuring no cameras point towards public spaces or neighbouring properties, including gardens. It’s common courtesy to inform your neighbours of your CCTV plans, before any cameras are installed.

A reputable tradesperson will have public liability insurance as standard. This protects against any accidental damage to your home. Feel free to ask for proof of insurance.
