I was contacted very soon after posting, agreed a price and date for work to take place. The day before installation of my new cooker Argos txt me to say they had given me wrong info and a wrong time slot for delivery. I explained the electrician was already booked but they would not budge. The electrician however was very accommodating and changed his slot at the last minute so thanks to him and not Argos I had a working cooker once more.
