Replaced fascia panels on roof, lasted just over 7 months, blew off with storm. Advised put on wrong, glued on in places and missing bricks & repointing was needed prior to being put on, was not advised this needed doing. Requested invoice, never received.

Superb service! The guys came to fit a velux window but the batons and felt had been damaged by leakage over the years. They worked all weekend to get it fixed as they had a big job starting the following Monday. They were friendly, tidy and incredibly hard working even when it started pouring. I wanted to score 2.5/5. Protype quoted a very high price for the work which I accepted on the basis that they would provide a once and for all fix to a leaking roof. Part of the work looks to have been performed well but some parts were not. So far no leaks but when I tried to contact them after a poorly fitted piece down pipe fell off l got no reply.

Watch out with this company. They will hook you in by under-quoting, then will tell you there is a 'problem' and say they cannot guarantee their work unless the 'problem' is remedied. In the end, I paid 7 times the original quote, despite the fact my roof was sound and not leaking. If you engage this company, insist on a thorough inspection BEFORE they turn up on site, so that you know all potential costings IN ADVANCE. It is unethical and unreasonable for clients to be put on the spot, as I was.
