This allows you to spread the cost of your solar panel installations across a 10-25 year period. To apply, you’ll first need to get your property assessed. You can find an assessor here. The initial assessment costs around £100 – £200 and comes with a formal report offering recommendations on energy saving improvements. Once you have the report you’ll be able to apply for a Green Deal Finance Plan.
Until the 31st of March, 2027, the government is helping homeowners improve their energy efficiency by allowing households to pay 0% VAT on the installation of all energy-saving materials. According to the UK, this could save a typical family around £1,000 in installation fees, as well as an additional £300 a year on energy bills.
Lastly, the Government’s Energy Company Obligation scheme (ECO4) is designed to help low-income households save energy. With ECO4, you can apply to have fully-funded or discounted solar panels installed in your home. You can check your eligibility here.

My gas safe certification is about to lapse however my knowledge and qualifications are of the highest standard, as this is a new beginning for me I am reluctant to retake the course right now until I understand how beneficial it will be for me in the future. As for me. I am a young man with 15 years on site experience that has always been willing to work hard and treat people fairly. I more than not keep customers for life and am always more than willing to go out of my way to keep people happy. I usually have my dog with me as he is my best bud and comes everywhere with me. Anton did a great emergency call out job on some pipe work. I called him on Monday late afternoon, and he was able to come and see the work that needed to be done within the hour, he was then able to start work the following day, working around the roofers we had on site too. As I wasnt onsite when he did the inspection he sent me a video of the work that he was going to do, which was great! I would definitely recommend him, and will be getting a quote for some other jobs that need doing. Thanks Anton
