Gas Boiler - Installation
Hired Michael to do gas conversion, update pipework and fit 2 bathroom suites. Big Job. Nice guy and felt confident even recommended him to family. Noticed significant damage to wooden frame of new bed caused by an attempt of dismantling it during work. Brought to their attention, nothing was done. Didn't dwell on it. I have since had 3 tradesmen inspect the work which they state is below standard in the trade. Works agreed in quote still not complete after 3 weeks of being paid. Learning curve and move on

As previously said we knew nothing of the damaged bed , it was maybe damaged during one of your drinking party’s ? Secondly we did a great job as was confirmed by your father who actually knew what he was doing, Thirdly.. we were not paid in full until we had finished the works completely,unfortunately your lack of experience in project managing the job was the only hinderance. .. And having received this negative feedback on an account that has never once had a bad review in 6yrs I decided not too ..

Dont be silly Michael, I made u aware of the broken bed when I returned from a holiday for over a month, you know this as I sent you a picture of it. You or colleagues dismantled the bed which you know as you needed access. As my previous comment, we had to do quite a bit of work to get it sorted but it's sorted now. To address your third point you didn't finish the listed works e.g. oil tank removal quoted work you sent me on the invoice. Plus you took guttering off not replacing it. Experience gained

30/11/23. Ideal Engineer was arranged to come out to check installed boiler by Boiler Tech. Hot and cold pipes where discovered to be reversed and attached opposite ways. Which needed corrected by another plumber before two parts of the boiler were replaced. Boiler engineer stated the parts failed because the system wasn’t flushed prior to installation. Documented by Ideal.

Michael did a great job fitting a new combi boiler and radiators. Very tidy and completed quickly and for the price quoted - no surprises!

Michael was very good and had the pipework sorted very quickly. I did request an invoice but I have not received it yet.
Bathroom Installation
DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN. Michael walked off the job having made the worse possible mess with floor tiles I have ever seen. He had the cheek to say we were fussy. The gaps in the tiles didn’t match anywhere. He hadn’t cut the tiles around the door frame or behind the radiator. The tiles cost £1,000 and they are ruined. He put very large tiles around the shower and damaged them as well. I really strongly advise you not to let this man near you home.
