Electrician

Mr Normanton arrived at the hall at the agreed time, explained the nature of the inspection and then worked systematically through the inspection of every circuit in the hall. He then explained his findings and sent me the inspection report by email as I requested. The charge for the inspection was exactly the same as the original quote. I would recommend Excelsior Engineering for this type of inspection.

Electrician

The work carried out was thorough and efficient. The first appointment was missed due to lack of administrative organisation, however a discount off the agreed price was negotiated with no problem. I would call on Lee again, a very pleasant guy who takes care in his work

Excelsior Engineering answered questions about Electrician

Shannon 's question

I have been given a quote for doing all the electrics in my new build house which works on a per point basis. i.e. per switch, light, socket etc which includes the wiring, labour and point. Is this a normal way to price the electrical work for a new build house? And if so, is there an average rate that I should consider per point?

Depends where you live to be honest. Here in South Wales for a 3/4 bedroom terraced house we’d usually charge somewhere around £3000. Although in London, you’d probably pay that for an outside light to be installed.

How long and how much to fit an electric cooker

It's depends on how long the cable run is from the consumer unit to the shower and how accessible the route is.
