Wall Tiling
Prompt with quote and arrival. I thought Simon’s finish really neat and tidy and was very pleased with our 'brickwork' tiles. (I am studying interior design so design/finish is important) There was a mutual miscommunication on how I wanted the floortiles but he said he wanted me 100% happy so he came back after his holiday to re-do them. Friends have cooed over my tiling, and I think he’s already got two imminent bookings as a result. A lovely guy as well, I would highly recommend Simon.
Wall Tiling
Simon was punctual and a tidy worker. The overall finish is okay, but there was a lack of attention to detail (top of tiles left looking unfinished with just grout/adhesive and some sharp edging strips, some uneven grout lines in corners). There was also some lack of clarity about what was and wasn't included in the job. As we understand it from the text message trail leading up to the job starting, the additionally agreed area was not finished due to main job taking slightly longer than predicted.

I had only quoted to do kitchen then was asked to replace a shelf with ply in toilet. I said the kitchen would take to days. then went bqck for 3 hours on the 3rd day free off change to do shelf. I replaced a broken tile and 2 tiles that didn't line up. when I finished job work I asked if Daniel was happy he said he was.

We agreed to use Simon's services on the previso that the toilet shelf would also be tiled in the quote. We were working to a fixed price quote, not time driven. I was never asked if I was happy with job. By the time Simon said he had finished he had his tools packed up ready to go and when I questioned the wooden shelf not being tiled Simon said he did not have more time to do this for the money. Miscommunication, or planned we don't know. Simon did an additional 2 not 3 hours on the third day (8-10am).
Floor Tiling
Great guy with great service. Had kitchen and bathroom tiled by Simon and won't be going to anyone else in the future!
